Changing level of detail? March 2, 2016, 12:26 PM.Causes: This is due to a view template being used for that view that is controlling the scale. If you are trying to render a view but you can't change the some of the Render Settings because they grayed out, that is because there is a view template assigned to the view that is controlling the render quality. If you refer to the icon for creating levels being greyed out, it is because it is available only in elevations and section views, and you are probably trying to create a level from a floor plan view.As you can see below, this column family will automatically clean out the join with the wall.

So make sure you go into the View Template and update the Visibility/Graphics or change settings to not included Visibility/Graphics.
